Letters from somewhere on earth
I was sitting on the bus reading this and it made me want to create the least AI, least online, least capitalist thing I could think of. And this is it.
From the places I travel in the next 12 months, I’ll send you a handwritten letter. The number will vary but there will likely be one a month. Upcoming places include: Algeria, Portugal, Gabon and Greenland.
I’ll write about wherever I am and the things I’m thinking about while I’m there. What I’ve learned. What it feels like. What I’m still figuring out.
It costs 100 CHF a year. Of this I’ll spend around 20 CHF on stamps and pretty paper. The rest will go to whichever charity I feel like. Right now that’s Dahari, a little organisation doing extraordinary things for forest and marine conservation in the Comoros.
That’s it. The worst and least scalable ‘business’ idea imaginable.
